Psalm 7 - NIV
Psalm 7:16
16 The trouble he causes recoils on himself; his violence comes down on his own head.~~~
I'm not saying that everyone loves creating trouble, though some do. But times again we create trouble, unconsciously and without meaning to. Sometimes out of anger, sometimes out of rebellion. Whether you deny or not, i'm quite sure that somewhere during your lifetime, you did create trouble, whether small or big, whether you admit it or not.
But is it worth creating trouble, to get others angry, to create unhappiness so that you may get glee out of it?! When you create trouble for others, if you think back, you'll realised that you'll usually end up getting yourself in trouble too. Even if you manage to escape it, you'll still get it back when judgment Day comes. For I believe and know that judgment Day will come and we will all be judged and questioned for our actions. We will be held responsible for what we did.
I agree that many times we are not prudent, we do not think before we act. Sigh... I also fall heavily into this category. Out of anger, just to make that person angry (coz he made me angry and I want revenge...), out of rebellion (dont feel like obeying...), I thus try to create trouble for others that I may get "joy" (more like glee though). But usually I dont really end up happy either.
Maybe u disagree with me and think that this passage is nonsense. But this verse is very true in the real world. When gangsters go about fighting, bullying and getting others into trouble, they face lots of troubles too. When they bully/fight someone from another gang, they soon find themselves into another fight...
Violence is not the way to solve things. Take war for example, did it solve things? Were people happy? Did they gain what they want (those who started war)? They end up with more violence. Things could be talked out... except for the issue of conquering... but we should try to maintain good relationships with others and not go round looking for trouble but stay in peace, and make friends instead of enemies.

Refuge =)
Psalm 5:11
11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
~~~
Refuge: A place providing protection/shelter; A source of help, relief or comfort in times of trouble
When we take refuge in God, we will be so filled with joy. God is like this protection, this shelter which would protect you in times of danger. He will shield you from the wind and storm. He loves you and wants to comfort you and carry your burdens for you.
So, just take refuge in Him, trust Him, release everything to Him, let Him be your protection! And you will be filled with such a wonderful and bubbling joy. I know, I've experienced it. Especially when I am in church, I just let go everything to God. I put aside the week's problems and troubles and just focus on God. There is such a joy and freedom, an indescribable peace. You feel so happy, so carefree, better than being high on drugs.
So why wait??? Let the Lord be your protection. Take refuge in Him and experience His joy!!!
Anger \_/
Psalm 4:4
4 In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.
~~~
Many a times, when we get angry, we often sin. Anger can lead to hurtful words, abuse, violence, rebellion, vulgarities, unhappy relationships, bitterness, unhappiness even to people around you, foul mood for the rest of the day, angry thoughts, revenge, murder, crimes, etc.
Amazing how something as small and simple as anger can lead to much big and harmful effects. Didn't really thought that anger has such over-whelming power, right?! It does and therefore we shouldn't harbour anger and let it stay in your heart. As it is also said in Ephesians 4:26-27
"26"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold."
When we allow anger to enter our hearts, we are giving the devil a foothold. Many times, we can't control anger, but anger controls us. Ask yourself: "Are you usually in control of your anger? Or is anger controlling you and leading you to do wrong things?"
I'm not saying it is wrong to be angry. As a mere human being all of us is sure to be angry at times. I also dont think that anger itself is a sin and that God will judge us when we are angry, but rather He will look at how we deal with anger and whether we allow it to control us. Would we give God our anger that He may help us quench it or would we submit to it and to its master, the devil???
So when you are on your bed, meaning at the end of the day, look back and think. What was the cause of my anger? Is it really someone else's fault or my own? Most of the times, u can prevent anger. Anger is like our hands. It takes two hands to clap. You can allow yourself to be angry or not, although the latter is usually very difficult but not impossible. And as you think, be silent. Don't keep trying to defend yourself. What is the point? What do you gain? Nothing, except probably you still get to keep your pride. But is pride that important that u'll continue to live your life in bitterness until you decide to forget your anger?
It is sad to see or hear how anger is stored in a person's heart, because that person isn't willing to let go and therefore his/her future goes down the drain becoz all he/she could think of is that ever-growing anger in his/her heart. Dont let anger be your master, but let God be your master and consume your anger with His love.

Psalm 1 - NIV
Psalm1:1-31 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
